Final Call: CFOB AGM and Nomination for CFOB Board of Directors

We are now opening for a nomination process for CFOB board members. Please nominate someone who could best represent CFOB and are competent and capable of overseeing the organization, or express yourself to run as a candidate for the board. Please note that candidates running for the board must be members of Canadian Friends of Burma (CFOB).
We are still receiving memberships both by mail and electronically from all walks of life including doctors, professors, layers and even prominent Canadian politicians.
In order to be eligible to vote in this AGM, please download the form here and send it back by tomorrow at 5pm (EST).

13:00 – 14:00 Board of Directors Election
14:00 – 15:00 Forming Transitional Team
15:00 – 15:30 Conclusion

1. Both members and observers are required to confirm their attendance

Annual General Meeting of CFOB
Dec. 4, 2012
OTTAWA – Annual General Meeting of the Canadian Friends of Burma (CFOB) will be held in Toronto on Dec. 15 (Saturday), 2012. Members who renew their membership or submit new membership application can attend and take part in decision-making process of the organization.
Please note that non-members will be only allowed to attend as observers. However, both members and observers are required to confirm their attendance before 5pm (EST) on Dec. 13 for the preparations of seats and lunch (to be provided).
For those who have not yet renewed or submitted the new membership, please fill out the form download here and send it back before Dec. 14, 2012 at 5pm (EST). For those who cannot attend but are members can use proxy voting.
