Burma VJ on CBC and 2nd Anniversary of Saffron Revolution
While Burma supporters and activists in Canada are preparing various activities and events on the 2nd anniversary of ‘Saffron Revolution,’ CBC, the national TV network, is to air the related documentary – Burma VJ: Reporting from a Closed Country - on September 28 evening. Multi-award winning doc chronicles Burma's underground video journalists who risk death to smuggle footage out of the country.
