Oppression of Women

The Women's league (WLB) is a coalition of various ethnic womens groups from Burma. The WLB believes that womens are key to the political, social and humanitarian development of Burma. The WLB encourages women's participation in the pro-democracy movement, in order to higlight issues facing women and to add women's perspective to the struggle for democracy and human rights in Burma.
